Introduction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, transfers, and refunds are handled for sessions, gong baths, and events run by Creatively Curious Therapy (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

By booking a session or purchasing a ticket through our website, you agree to the terms set out below.

Creatively Curious Therapy is operated by Lydia Freeman, sole trader, United Kingdom. info@creativelycurioustherapy.co.uk

1. Community Gong Sound Baths

Cancellations and transfers

Tickets for community gong sound baths are non-refundable. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket:

• To another person; or

• To another community gong sound bath of the same value, subject to availability.

To arrange a transfer, please email info@creativelycurioustherapy.co.uk at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time.

Any credit transferred to another community gong sound bath must be used within three months of the original event date. After this time, the credit expires and cannot be used or refunded. If you cancel less than 48 hours before the event, or do not attend, your ticket will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or transferred.

Late arrivals

Entry is not possible once the session has started, to maintain a calm and uninterrupted experience for everyone. No refund or transfer will be offered for late arrivals.

Health disclaimer for transferred tickets

If you transfer your ticket to another person, Lydia will email the new attendee a health disclaimer once she has been notified of the transfer. This is the same disclaimer completed by the original booker. The new attendee must review the medical and health considerations for the event and complete and return the disclaimer before attending. If they have any health conditions or circumstances that may need consideration, they should contact Lydia before the event to discuss suitability and any necessary adjustments.

2. Special & Extended Gong Events

Special and extended events include retreats, longer gong sound bath experiences and other events designed around a specific advertised date and experience.

Cancellations and transfers

Tickets for special and extended gong events are non-refundable. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend, provided you email info@creativelycurioustherapy.co.uk at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time. These events are created specifically around the advertised experience, so tickets cannot be exchanged for another event or transferred to a different booking. If you contact Lydia less than 48 hours before the event, the ticket cannot be transferred.

Health disclaimer for transferred tickets

If you transfer your ticket to another person, Lydia will email the new attendee a health disclaimer once she has been notified of the transfer. This is the same disclaimer completed by the original booker. The new attendee must review the medical and health considerations for the event and complete and return the disclaimer before attending. If they have any health conditions or circumstances that may need consideration, they should contact Lydia before the event to discuss suitability and any necessary adjustments.

3. Individual Gong Sessions & Psychotherapy Sessions

Individual gong sessions and psychotherapy appointments are booked for a specific person, date and time.

Cancellations and rescheduling

48 hours or more before the appointment: No cancellation charge applies. Less than 48 hours before the appointment: The full session fee will be charged, except in exceptional circumstances at Lydia’s discretion. Please contact Lydia as soon as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment.

If Lydia cancels or reschedules

If Lydia needs to cancel or reschedule your session, you will be offered an alternative appointment or a full refund if you have already paid.

4. Bespoke Gong Sessions

Bespoke sessions are arranged for individuals, private groups, workplaces, retreats or other occasions. They may involve advance preparation, travel, equipment transport, venue hire and other costs.

Cancellations by you

Please contact Lydia as soon as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange your booking. If you cancel within four weeks of the agreed booking date, the full booking fee, including any outstanding balance, may be payable, subject to applicable consumer law. The payment schedule, deposit arrangements and cancellation terms applying to your specific booking will be confirmed in writing before your booking is confirmed. Cancellation charges will be applied in accordance with the agreed terms and applicable consumer law.

If Lydia cancels or reschedules

If Lydia needs to cancel or reschedule your bespoke session, she will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the available options. If the session cannot go ahead and an alternative arrangement is not agreed, payments made towards the affected booking will be refunded.

5. Cancellations by Creatively Curious Therapy

If Lydia needs to cancel or reschedule an event due to unforeseen circumstances, such as illness, venue issues or circumstances beyond her control, you will be contacted as soon as possible.

For community gong sound baths and special or extended events, you will be offered either:

• A full refund; or

• A transfer to the rescheduled date or a similar future event, where appropriate.

• If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, you may choose a refund instead.

For individual sessions, you will be offered an alternative appointment or a full refund if you have already paid. Bespoke bookings will be handled as described in Section 4.

6. Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will be returned to the original payment method, such as Stripe, within 14 calendar days of confirmation. You will be notified once your refund has been processed. Cash refunds are not available for online payments.

7. Ticket Transfers

Where ticket transfers are permitted, please email info@creativelycurioustherapy.co.uk with:

• Your full name and booking details.

• The name and contact details of the person taking your place.

Lydia will confirm the transfer by email. You are responsible for ensuring the new attendee knows the event details and relevant requirements.

Transfer arrangements depend on the type of booking, as outlined in Sections 1 and 2. The new attendee must also complete and return the health disclaimer emailed by Lydia before attending.

8. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

If an event cannot take place due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, public health restrictions or venue closure, Lydia will do her best to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be provided for the affected event booking. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.

9. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK consumer protection laws.

The usual 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 does not apply to certain leisure activities booked for a specific date or period, where the relevant legal exemption applies. This may include community gong sound baths and special or extended gong events.

Different rules may apply to individual sessions, psychotherapy and bespoke bookings, depending on the nature of the service and the circumstances of the contract. Cancellation charges and deposit arrangements will be applied in accordance with applicable consumer law. Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or restrict your statutory rights.

10. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to services, booking arrangements or legal requirements. The latest version will be available on the Creatively Curious Therapy website.
