Reflections from a Joyful Sunday at the Blue Skies Holistic Health Fest
This past Sunday, I had the pleasure of participating in the Blue Skies Holistic Health Fest at Westbourne House School in Chichester. This free, family-friendly event brought together a diverse community of holistic health practitioners, businesses, and charities, all dedicated to supporting health and wellbeing in our local area . I had the opportunity to host a stall and offer live demonstrations of my gong baths and sound therapy work. It was a beautiful, full day of connection, curiosity, and meaningful conversations.
Throughout the day, I met so many wonderful people - families, individuals, and fellow practitioners, each one bringing their own openness and interest in exploring something new. Over 60 people attended my demonstrations, and it was truly heartening to see such engagement and enthusiasm. Some were experiencing the soothing sounds of the gong for the first time, while others were already familiar and eager to reconnect with that sense of calm and presence.
What stood out most was the atmosphere of genuine curiosity. People asked thoughtful questions, shared personal stories, and took time to simply pause and feel. Whether they stayed for a few minutes at the stall or for the full demo sessions, each person added something special to the experience.
These kinds of events remind me why I do this work. Beyond the sounds and sessions, it’s really about creating spaces where people can come together, feel safe to explore, and reconnect with themselves and each other.
I’m deeply grateful to the organisers, to everyone who stopped by my stall, and especially to those who took part in the demonstrations. Your presence, your interest, and your kind words meant so much. I left the event feeling uplifted, inspired, and excited for what’s to come.
I’m already looking forward to the next opportunity to share this work with even more people in our local community.
